how to teach your child manners and respect 2021

Why manners are necessary:




It is necessary to teach good manners to children. They can't learn this by themselves. The parent must teach them by using different methods.

Children are like a sponge, they observed everything around and get easily influenced. They can't differentiate between good or bad manners. So, we must teach them what to do and what not to do.

There are some ways to teach manners to your child

Be well mannered:

 If you want your child to have good manners, you must have good manners as well. You can't simply tell them to do so and they will become well mannered? First, be mannerly parents.

 Practice makes perfect: Manners are practice-oriented. We can not simply tell them orally. Teach them manners in a fun way. Pay attention to their mistakes and appreciate them when they show a good manner.

Vocabulary:

Teach your child some polite words. Like, please, thank you, may I, excuse me. It will help them to communicate politely with everyone.

Be patient around them:
Be patient around your children. They learn slowly, it takes time to adopt all the manners inside them. Teach them to respect others feeling as they learn they humble themselves.

Correct them on the spot:
If your child makes any mistake correct them immediately on the spot in a polite way.  Don't be harsh with them otherwise, you are failed to teach them manner.

Speak well in front of them :
You children, observe everything you do and say so, be mindful of your words. If you speak well your child also learn to speak well naturally.
 
Your behaviour:
 Parents are the first teacher.
Since you are teaching them how to behave, you must prevent your poor attitude while speaking or doing any work. If you act well in front of them they will do the same.
