Towards righteous path. Noah (AS) was the successor of Idris(AS). when Idris(AS) passed away there were no leaders to instruct the people who were left behind. Origin of shirk: At that time Shaitan took the opportunity of the circumstance and he went to these wailing men and women disguised as a man and whispered in their ears " if we make the sculpture of these righteous men, it will remind you to do good" So, they made a statue with the motive to keep reminding themselves to do good and they began to do good. This is how shaitan initiated his big plan and he succeeded in it. Shaitan's trick: After the generation pass. Who were prophets:
Allah has sent many prophets since the world started. Prophets were sent to convey the message of Allah to the people and to tell them to do good deeds and to prevent evil deeds.
There were 124000 prophets sent to this world. Adam Alaisalam was the introductory prophet and first human being as well and the Muhammad Alaisalam is the final prophet.
They were the beloved servant of Allah.
Every Prophet preached the same core principles, there is no God but Allah.
When the prophets were sent, people refused to believe them and disobeyed them.
People said: you are not prophet but human being like us, and the Allah has not revealed a thing. You are only telling lies. (36:15).
Allah has mentioned 25 prophets in Quraan, they are
Adam Alaisalam
Idris Alaisalam
Nuh Alaisalam
Solih Alaisalam
Hud Alaisalam.
Ibrahim Alaisalam
Lut Alaisalam.
Ismail Alaisalam
Ishaq Alaisalam
Yaqub Alaisalam
Yusuf Alaisalam
Ayyub Alaisalam
Shu'ayb Alaisalam
Dawud Alaisalam
Musa Alaisalam
Yunus Alaisalam
Sulaiman Alaisalam
Harun Alaisalam
Dhulkifl Alaisalam

Muhammad Alaisalam
Allah sent many prophets to different places and at a different time to guide people.
Books of Allah:
Allah has revealed 4 major holy books at different eras.
Torah
Zabur
Injil
Quran.
Torah revealed during the time of Musa Alaisalam.
Zabur revealed during the time of Dawud Alaisalaam.
Injil revealed during the time of
Isa Alaisalam.
Quran revealed during the time of Mohammad Alaisalam.
But the first three books, Torah, Zabur and Injil have been corrupted.
Now the Quran is the only holy book which there is no doubt in it.
Quran is the words of Allah. it was dictated to Muhammed by an angel Jibril(Gabriel ).
Quran is the sing of Mohammad Alaisalm being a prophet.
Miracle by prophets :
Allah revealed such miracles through the Prophet which were never seen or heard before. Still, people disobeyed and insulted them. Even people thought their miracles are evil. But many people after seeing such miracles considered them prophets and accepted Islam.
Prophets and their miracles:
Adam Alaisalaam:
Adam Alaisalaam himself is a miracle of God and he is the first man created from dust (soil) by Allah.
Idris Alaisalaam:
He is the second prophet after Adam Alaisalaam and the first man to ever write with a pen. Writing before him did not exist.
Allah mention in Quraan: Idrees indeed, he was a man of truth and patient as well.
Allah gives him some of the miracles in the form of honesty, intelligence and skill. He had the ability to creating things that can easier human activities like astrology, sewing, numeracy, And recognising writing.
Nuh Alaisalam:
Nun Alaisalam warned his people to abandon Idolatry and worship only Allah. Live a pure life. But they refused him
Allah states that in Quran: and we had certainly sent Nuh to his people (saying) I'm to you a clear Warner [11:25]
He continuously warned his people that a big flood is coming and asked them to accept Allah as God. But they did not listen to him .so Allah commanded Nuh Alaisalaam to build an ark where the only true believer will enter and Allah sent a big Strom where all disbeliever including his son were drowned
Quran [29:14]
Solih Alaisalaam:
Allah has sent a female camel to the people of Thamud after they demanded a miracle from solih Alaisalam.
Quran [7:77]
HUD Alaisalam:
The people of Ad were wealthy and powerful. They built many buildings and monuments to show their power. But they became arrogant and began to worship Idolatry. Prophets HUD warned them as Nuh Alaisalaam did but they taunted him.
Then Allah sent thunderstorms to the terrible people of Ad and destroyed them once for all.
Quran [46:21], [11:59&69].
Ibrahim Alaisalam:
Ibrahim Alaisalam is also known as a friend of Allah because of his unwavering faith in Allah. " when Ibrahim was tried by his Lord with commands and he fulfilled them. Allah said I'll make you a leader for the people. Ibrahim Alaisalam said: and my descendants? Allah said: my covenant does not include wrongdoers. Quran[2:124] "
Ibrahim Alaisalam also warned his people to stop worship idolatry and accept one God Allah. King namrud ordered to burn Ibrahim alive. The huge hole was dug up and a large quantity of wood loaded up. while jibrahil Alaisalam approached for help but Ibrahim Alaisalam said: Allah is enough for me. Then Ibrahim Alaisalam was thrown into the fire, then Allah ordered the fire: oh fire, be coolness and safety to Ibrahim. Fire obeyed and Ibrahim came out of it safely. People were watched in shock and they said: amazing Ibrahim's God saved him from fire.
Lut Alaisalam:
The people of the twin cities were denied, one God. They committed sins like robbery, inhospitality and rape.
Quran [7:81] indeed, you go to the men instead of women. You have gone beyond your limits
Quran [7:82] but they said drive them from town who consider themselves pure from evil.
From the above narration it clear that they denied lut Alaisalam when he warned them to stop wrongdoing. But they mocked him, wounded him with words. So Allah punished them with an earthquake, rain of rocks and strong wind storm that ultimately destroyed them except lut Alaisalam and his believer.
Ismail Alaisalam:
Ismail Alaisam is the first son of Ibrahim Alaisalam. Allah commanded Ibrahim to sacrifice Ismail. If God commanded we should obey ismail Alaisalam encouraged him for sacrifice.
When Ibrahim about to slaughter Ismail Allah replace Ismail Alaisalam with sheep and Allah said to Ibrahim: you fulfilled my command.
Yaqub Alaisalam :
Yaqub Alaisalam is the father of Yusuf Alaisalam. Yaqub was very fond of his son Yusuf. Because of this other sons were jealous of Yusuf
One day they took Yusuf with them by promising to look after him. They took off Yusuf shirt and throw him into the deep well. And came back saying the wolf has eaten Yusuf by showing him the piece of cloth which was covered with blood.
But, Yaqub did not believe them. He believed One day Allah would brink back Yusuf to him. He cried for many years after separation from his son Yusuf. eventually, he lost his eyesight. But Allah restored his eyesight and reunited his son after so many years.
Yusuf Alasalam:
There are more than hundreds of verses in the Quran about Yusuf. Allah has blessed him with the most handsome face and also he can interpret the dream.
Ayyub Alaisalam:
Ayyub Alaisalam is known for his patient and gratefulness toward Allah.
Allah tested him with sickness and wealth but Ayyub did not lose his hope in Allah. In the end, Allah gave him back his health and wealth as well. Quran[38:44].
Shuaib Alaisalam :
People from medianite were idolizing a large tree. So, shuaib Alaisalam cautioned them to end their defrauding way but they denied him Quran[7:85] So, Allah punished disbeliever with hot storm, earthquake and lightning.
Dawud Alisalam:
Quran states that[2:251] Allah gave him the kingship and prophethood. And taught him what he willed. if God d did not drive back some people by others, the earth would become corrupt.
Allah taught him the ability to make armour. He was able to soften the iron with bare hand Quran [21:80]
Can understand the bird's language and had a sweet voice.
Musa Alaisalam:
During his period there was a cruel king name piron (pharaoh) He was brutal and injustice toward his people also claimed himself a deity. He used to punish those who refused to believe him, God.
Musa Alaisalam refused him and called people toward a true and one god.
There are so many verses in the Quran about Musa and his people.
Allah has given a stick to the Musa being a serpent .which split the red sea and help the Musa and believer to cross the sea easily which drowned the disbeliever and bring destruction to the pharaoh and his people.
Yunus Alaisalam:
Allah saved Yunus when he was swallowed by the whale. Allah helps him to escape from that trouble by accepting his prayer.
Sulaiman Alaisalam:
Among prophet, Sulaiman Alaisalam was able to understand animal language and Allah gave him the power to control jin. He asked Allah to bless him with kingship which was given to none after him or before him and Allah accepted his prayer and he became the greatest rural around the world.
Harun Alaisalam:
Allah has granted the ability of good language. He was a gifted speaker.
Dhulkifl Alaisalam:
Allah mention in Quran [21:85]
Dhulkifl's patience and generosity.
Isa Alaisalam:
As mentioned in the Quran [3:49]
•The miracle of creating bird from clay and breathing life into it by the permission of Allah.
Cure the blind and leper.
Revive dead by permission of Allah.
And finally, lifted by Allah when Jews tried to kill him.
Zakariya Alaisalam:
Zakariya Alaisalam prayed to Allah to grant him, child, he had conscious that he was advanced in age and his wife was barren. But still, he had faith in Allah that he has the power to do whatever he will. And Allah blessed him with a pious son name Yahya Alaisalam. Quran [3:40]
Yahya Alaisalam:
Allah praised Yahya in the Quran, he was a dutiful son, kind heart, generous and patient. He never showed a sign of arrogance or disobedience. He was pious and praised by Prophet Isa as well.
Ilyas Alisalam:
He advised his people to forsake the worship of idolatry and worship one god but they denied so Allah punished them with drought, Allah has stopped the rain and they suffered.
Yasa Alaisalam:
Yasa was chosen for prophethood after Ilyas Alaisalam. He had the same miracles as Isa Alaisalam like a revival of the dead and curing the sick. And walking on water.
Mohammed Alaisalam:
Everyone Muslim knows who is Mohammad. He is our beloved prophet and the last prophet of Allah.
Quran is the biggest miracle and proof of his being a prophet.
There are many miracles mentioned in the hadith and Quran
•splitting the moon
• Miraj a night journey, curing the sick, multiplication of food and water.
• power over nature, he caused rain during a drought in Madina.
•he used understands the animal language
• stones and trees used to greet him Assalamualaikum (peace be upon you)
And more miracles are mentioned.

Allah has mentioned in the Quran stories of prophets and how they lived their challenging life by having faith in Allah. Their life stories are a lesson for us. And teach us how we should live our life as a Muslim and being a servant of Allah.
