Towards righteous path. Noah (AS) was the successor of Idris(AS). when Idris(AS) passed away there were no leaders to instruct the people who were left behind. Origin of shirk: At that time Shaitan took the opportunity of the circumstance and he went to these wailing men and women disguised as a man and whispered in their ears " if we make the sculpture of these righteous men, it will remind you to do good" So, they made a statue with the motive to keep reminding themselves to do good and they began to do good. Allah tests those who he loves the most

Assalamualaikum
"Allah tests those who he loves the most" 
Allah takes the test of those who are nearest to him. He tests them in many ways in their life by giving health and wealth and also by taking health and wealth.

Like we already knew about previous prophets (peace be upon them ), Allah tested them with many problems and they did patience. So, Allah helps them to overcome their problems.

When we heard the word "patience" the first prophet that comes to our mind is Ayyub Alaisalaam. 
The way he had patience when Allah took everything from him, and even when Allah tested him by taking his health, he never complains to Allah instead of complaining he was always grateful toward Allah.
He never stopped praying for being sick.
He had great hope in Allah that one day Allah will make everything better. And this pain will fade away from life.

This time I must have patience and must please Allah cause he is the only one who can heal me and bless me 

And in end, Allah was pleased with him and gave everything back, his health as well as wealth.
And made him King of Paradise(Jannat)
This is the reward of being patience in our life.
We should learn to be patient. May Allah help us to be patience in our tough time and thankful in our happy time. Ameen.
